I've decided to take a (perhaps long break) from blogging. I've been working on other projects not related to wedding planning that have been keeping me so deeply involved I can't seem to find the time to blog about wedding stuff as much as I would like to.
So in the meantime, please checkout my blogroll for many wonderful other blogs chuck full of tips and ideas about wedding celebrations and as always you can send me an email!
bisous.

Tabletop Tuesday : Fruit Wedding Centerpiece Ideas
Fruits are a fresh way to spruce up your wedding tabletop. Lemons, limes, peaches and even apples have all been used to add a bust of color and flavor to an otherwise ordinary floral arrangement. Here are some of my picks below.

The cake as fruit centerpiece!

This was a DIY prepared by Kendicles, she found all she needed at Trader Joes!

Red Wedding Dresses and Gowns

Inspirational Mondays

I've been enthralled by red gowns recently. I think many women here (in Europe) aren't afraid of colorful wedding dresses. If you're the type of bride who loves to go off the beaten path, red might be for you too. If not its a great way to wear two beautiful dresses on your big day, if you're choosing to change into something else after the ceremony for the reception ( which by the way is quite simple if the wedding and the reception is being held at the same venue say at an estate or hotel).
1. Donna Karan Collection Floor Length Tie Gown 2. Valentino 3. Unknown worn by Tinsely Mortimer 4. Custom John Galliano worn by Heidi Klum.

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller Intimate Wedding
Wednesday, June 4, 2008

Real Wedding Wednesday
Charlie Sheen and longtime girlfriend Brooke Mueller wed in an intimate ceremony at a private estate in Beverly Hills on May 30. Brooke, 30, in a Reem Acra gown, and Charlie, 42, exchanged their own vows in front of 68 guests.
an interstign snippet from the OK magazine interview asked,Charlie, why did you go to Men’s Wearhouse for your wedding suit? I like their commercials a lot! I got tired of $3,000 suits falling apart in the middle of certain events. I didn’t wear a tux because they’re hot and they don’t breathe.
I thought that was the most unusual thing ever. I guess Mens Warehous does have good suits!

The £3MILLION wedding budget
Wednesday, May 28, 2008
Real Wedding Wednesday
My question to you: what would you do with a £3MILLION wedding budget?
Footballer WAYNE ROONEY and his fiancée COLEEN McLOUGHLIN have just that challenge - or luxury depending who's calculating.
Money FYI:
- Coleen will wear a £100,000 gown by New York fashion house Marchesa.
- they're getting £2.5million deal with a glossy mag for exclusive coverage of the nuptials
- and I have heard that "a chunk of that cash is being given to a Liverpool charity."
